Gareth has worked in the aviation business for over twenty years as a Senior Manager at Manchester Airport, specialising in Airfield Operations and Emergency Planning; he was instrumental in creating a specialist Airfield Safety Unit; establishing training standards to develop staff and enhance safety standards for airside operations. This included having responsibility for developing Accident / Incident Investigation, Bird Control, Aerodrome Auditing, Airbridge and Airside procedures.

Whilst at Manchester Airport Gareth acted in a consultancy role providing operational support at Humberside Airport and Operations Director at Blackpool Airport.

Gareth remains active today in Airport Management and has recently been responsible for the Training of Staff, Commissioning and Aerodrome Certification of a number of Aerodromes in Oman, Fujairah in the UAE and Regional Airports in the UK.
